Deepseek Harness 0.1.3-alpha.1

Original release notes

| English

  • :Session persistence API SessionHandle;agentLoop.create() ,session,session @turtle1999
  • Session format v2: v0/v1 generation ,Assistant attempt settlement, Web @tianyicui
  • :,session;

New Features

  • Web now supports uploads of arbitrary file types: files and images share a preview area, background uploads expose progress and cancellation and remain visible across conversation switches, and models can use existing file tools to read saved paths on demand. by @CreatixChu
  • All outbound network requests honor the HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY, ALL_PROXY, and NO_PROXY settings from the startup environment. by @LegGasai
  • The Python SDK adds a macOS x64 runtime wheel, allowing Intel-based Macs to install and run the bundled runtime. by @koalazf99
  • Render images directly in Web tool cards for top-level and PTC-nested read_image calls instead of showing raw attachment objects. by @Chinesezjc
  • Model discovery now supports models objects from custom model providers and native Anthropic model lists, and fills in model names, context windows, and maximum output tokens when needed. by @LegGasai

Bug Fixes

  • Immediately abort the active model turn when a goal is paused manually in Web, preventing the running model from continuing or resuming within the same turn. by @mektpoy
  • Preserve tool-call IDs and names across DeepSeek streaming continuation chunks, preventing empty tool names and conversation records that cannot be reopened. by @LegGasai
  • Prevent the Python SDK single-file runtime from rewriting Bash commands that begin with node as dsh runtime invocations. by @imccyu
  • Open a conversation selected from search in its Workspace, expand it, and scroll it into view instead of leaving the search interface open. by @Dudu-0223
  • Fix path separators, titles, and absolute-path validation for Windows drive-root Workspaces so drive roots work correctly. by @turtle1999
  • Fix Session cache reads. by @imccyu

Improvements

  • The Skill picker supports fuzzy search, with improved Skill and command references in chat bubbles. by @LegGasai
  • Unify colors, hover and focus states, and category icons for clickable conversation links, making Markdown links, file references, web sources, artifact links, and Workflow member links easier to distinguish. by @yixiangihsiang
  • Standardize FS_NOT_OBSERVED diagnostics for unobserved file writes and failed edits while preserving the file path, structured error code, and original cause. by @turtle1999
  • Prevent local non-terminal subprocesses from opening console windows on Windows. by @turtle1999
  • Agent Team send_message consistently uses steer semantics and preserves sender attribution and ordering across agents and cold recovery. by @Dudu-0223

Chores

  • Breaking change: The Session persistence API is now owned by lifecycle-scoped SessionHandles; agentLoop.create() is asynchronous, and a new Session lock ensures that each Session is held by at most one process. by @turtle1999
  • Upgrade the Session format to v2: immutable adjacent-generation migrations convert v0/v1 logs to the current format, Assistant streams are aggregated by attempt into durable settlements, and Web preserves real-time incremental rendering. by @tianyicui
  • This release has a known performance regression that may affect responsiveness in some scenarios. We will address it in the next release.
