Ashigaru Desktop 1.1.0
Cohesive Ashigaru redesign, a dedicated Whirlpool mixing experience, private Electrum server discovery over Tor, and privacy tooling for inspecting transactions - plus UX and packaging fixes. Bumps the app version 1.0.0 1.1.0.
New features
- Whirlpool Stats tool - sync status, chart metrics, and actionable transactions;
data fetched over the Tor onion endpoint.
- Tx0 broadcast overlay - centered checklist with clear progress.
- Coordinator-unreachable warning instead of a silent failure.
- Dojo Electrum server discovery - pulls the Dojo directory from dojobay.pw over Tor
and adds each reachable Dojo's (v1.28+) Electrum server; runs automatically at startup, parallel probing, servers cryptographically verified and surfaced in the Public Server section (with a dojobay.pw credit). Same call also populates the block-explorer list.
- Configurable "Am I Exposed" privacy check (with a None option), plus **explorer /
exposure links** on every transaction card.
- Card-based UTXO & transaction views, with PayNym/BIP47 name, abbreviated payment
code, and avatar shown inline.
Improvements
- New Ashigaru main shell, wallet dashboard, and dark theme applied across all screens
and dialogs; redesigned create/restore flow and BIP47 message verifier.
- BIP39 passphrase safety: instead of trying to reject a wrong passphrase (impossible -
any passphrase opens a different valid wallet), warn on unexpected full-history change ("may be caused by an incorrect passphrase") with Reopen / Refresh options.
- Lock button for passphrase/encrypted wallets.
- Responsive server settings (text wraps, body scrolls) and a raised window minimum
height so the status bar is always visible.
Fixes
- Fixed NPE when opening a passphrase wallet while Tor was still connecting.
- Fixed transaction-card avatar/alignment issues and restored the unlock master
fingerprint; fixed logo/dialog theming; removed a stray submodule gitlink.
Packaging
- Fixed oversized Dock/taskbar icon - runtime and packaged icons (.icns/.ico/.png) now
carry the standard transparent safe-area margin (~82% content); added a 1024px master.
- Version bumped to 1.1.0 (build.gradle,
APP_VERSION, Info.plist).
Notes
- Tor-first; discovery and the passphrase warning are best exercised on mainnet with a
wallet that already has history.
